About the Owner
Lisa Severin began a personal journey along her healing path in 1971 at the young age of 21. Her own debilitating health issues led her to a plant based diet and the beginning of a lifelong education in lifestyle choices, self love and self care. She is passionate about educating, empowering and inspiring her clients to live life at the highest level.
Lisa has been honored to intern with many pioneers in the natural healing field over forty years of study. She assisted Dr. Bernard Jensen at his sanitarium in Escondido, California where his tissue cleansing programs were world renowned. Lisa traveled with Ann Wigmore, a pioneer in the raw food movement seeking understanding of fasting and the healing potential of green plants. She was in the middle of the detox movement with Elson Hass MD, one of the father's of integrated medicine in Northern California in the 1980's. Lisa has interned with The Gerson Institute, Optimal Health Institute, Hippocrates Clinic and Center for Total Health. A student of Edgar Cayce teachings and advanced studies in lymphatic modalities have taken her from Montecatini, Italy, to Santa Barbara, California to lymphatic cupping with Anita Shannon under the inspiring skies of France.
Twenty years ago Cove Wellness was born in the seaside village of La Jolla, California. A wellness spa dedicated to sharing purifying treatments for body and spirit. From humble beginnings to enhancing the health of beauty of clients worldwide with a unique and effective synergy of services.
